Ginger Punch
Drinking this hot beverage with ginger and honey might help you fight a cold or the flu.
Serves: serves 1
Ingredients:
- 1.in (2.5.cm) piece fresh root ginger, peeled and grated
- 11/4 cups water
- 1 tbsp honey
Directions:
- Add the ginger to the water, bring to a boil, and simmer until it has reduced by half.
- Stir in the honey, simmer until it is dissolved, and then drink it as hot as possible, ideally just before you go to bed if you're sick.
- Drink this at the first sign of a cold or flu. You should sweat the bugs out overnight. Serves 1, but can be multiplied to make more.
