Purely Peach Smoothie
The taste of summer is captured in this frosty recipe!
Serves: 2 (15-ounce) servings
- 3/4 cup chilled peach nectar
- 1 (8-ounce) container peach low-fat yogurt
- 1 1/2 cups frozen peach slices (2 large peaches, peeled, sliced, and frozen, or presliced peaches from frozen food aisle)
- 1/2 cup vanilla frozen yogurt or vanilla ice cream
- Dash almond extract (optional)
- Combine peach nectar, yogurt, and peaches in a blender. Blend on high speed until peaches are puréed and mixture is smooth.
- Add frozen yogurt and almond extract (if using).
- Blend on high speed again until smooth. Serve immediately.
- This smoothie can also be made with apricot nectar and fresh apricots.
