Shallots look and taste similar to onions, but are milder. Mix shallots with garlic for a potent sauce.
- 10 cloves garlic, peeled
- 10 shallots, peeled
- Olive oil to cover
- In a food processor or blender, finely chop the garlic and shallots by pulsing the blade and scraping down the sides.
- Put the mixture in an airtight container and cover with oil.
- This mixture will last refrigerated for 10 days or so.
