Teething Biscuit No. 1

Teething babies enjoy chewing on a biscuit, and they're also strengthening their jaw muscles and improving their eye-hand coordination.

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon soy flour
  • 1 cup spelt flour
  • 1 tablespoon breast milk or formula

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Beat the egg in a mixing bowl, add the honey, and mix well. Add the remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Roll onto a flour-dusted surface until about 1 inch thick and cut into the size you want. (Use cookie cutters, if you prefer.)
  3. Place on a greased baking sheet and cook for 7 minutes. Flip over and cook for 4 minutes.
