Barbecued Grouper

Barbecue sauce and cayenne pepper create a spicy sauce for meaty grouper fillets.

  • 1-pound grouper fillets
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 1/3 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  1. Spray shallow baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Arrange fish fillets in single layer in dish; sprinkle with lemon pepper.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients in small bowl; mix well.
  4. Spoon sauce over fish; cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
  5. Preheat oven to 400F. Bake uncovered, 15 to 20 minutes, until fish flakes easily with a fork.
