Chinese Chicken Bake
Ginger and garlic powder add a whole lot of flavor to this chicken bake, but no fat!
Serves: Serves: 6
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3/5 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
- Spray shallow baking dish with cooking spray; arrange chicken breasts in single layer in dish.
- Combine soy sauce, mustard, ginger, garlic powder and pepper in small bowl; mix until blended.
- Pour sauce over chicken; cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350F. Bake 15 minutes; remove chicken and brush generously with marinade in pan.
- Bake an additional 10 to 15 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and lightly browned.
Tips:
- No dry mustard in the house? No problem--substitute 1 tablespoon prepared mustard for 1 teaspoon dry mustard.
