Corn Dog Twists

Children love this variation of corn dogs, and they're so easy to make!

Serves: 6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 11 1/2-ounce can refrigerator corn bread twists
  • 16 low-fat beef wieners
  • 2 tablespoons melted margarine
  • 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. Unroll corn bread dough into a long roll, Cut into 6 long strips.
  3. Wrap each strip around a wiener.
  4. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Brush lightly with melted margarine. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over each corn dog twist.
  5. Bake 12 to 16 minutes or until dough is light brown.
Tips:
  • Children love corn dogs. Here is a variation you can make at home. If your child doesn't like cheese, just leave it out.
