Ground Beef Fajitas

You only need a few simple ingredients for these beef fajitas.

Serves: 4 servings


  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1/2 green pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 red pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup prepared salsa
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 8 flour tortillas

  1. In large nonstick skillet, brown beef, onion, and peppers over medium heat. Drain fat.
  2. Stir in salsa and chili powder. Simmer about 5 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Roll beef mixture into tortillas just before serving.
  • Be creative with fajitas. You can even add extra toppings like chopped tomatoes and low-fat sour cream to fajitas if you want to jazz up your meal.
