Ground Beef Fajitas
Type: Main Dishes
You only need a few simple ingredients for these beef fajitas.
Serves: 4 servings
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1/2 green pepper, sliced
- 1/2 red pepper, sliced
- 1 cup prepared salsa
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 8 flour tortillas
- In large nonstick skillet, brown beef, onion, and peppers over medium heat. Drain fat.
- Stir in salsa and chili powder. Simmer about 5 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally.
- Roll beef mixture into tortillas just before serving.
- Be creative with fajitas. You can even add extra toppings like chopped tomatoes and low-fat sour cream to fajitas if you want to jazz up your meal.
