Perfect Peppercorn Sauce for Chicken, Turkey or Pork Tenders

This peppercorn sauce is quick to prepare, and makes chicken, turkey or pork tenders outstanding.

  • 3/4 cup plain nonfat yogurt
  • 1/3 cup nonfat sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons grated nonfat Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons nonfat mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon black peppercorns, crushed
  • 1 1/2 pounds low-fat chicken, turkey or pork tenders, cooked

  1. Combine all ingredients except tenders and blend until smooth.
  2. Cover and refrigerate sauce up to 1 week.
  3. Serve over baked, grilled, broiled or sauteed tenders.
  4. Sauce can also be used as vegetable dip or baked potato topping.
  • While whole-milk yogurt supplies 34 percent of the daily need for calcium, nonfat yogurt is the real calcium booster, meeting 56 percent of the recommended amount of calcium.
