Pineapple Tuna Wraps

Tuna is brain food, but this recipe is a no-brainer. Kids love tuna wraps for lunch!

Serves: Serves: 6


  • 3-ounce package nonfat cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons nonfat mayonnaise
  • 3 (6-ounce) cans water-packed tuna, drained
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple in juice, drained well
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon slivered almonds
  • Pepper to taste
  • 6 low-fat flour tortillas

  1. Combine cream cheese and mayonnaise in medium bowl; beat with electric mixer until blended creamy and smooth.
  2. Add tuna, pineapple, parsley and almonds; mix well. Season with pepper.
  3. Divide mixture among tortillas; roll and wrap with plastic wrap.
  4. Store in refrigerator up to 2 days.
  • Omega-3 fatty acids in tuna work as an anti-inflammatory agent, making it an excellent choice for post-workout food. Merely 2 ounces of tuna provides 13 grams protein, almost all the 16 grams needed to build 1 pound of muscle.
