|
Categories: Quick to fix
Type: Main Dishes

If your children like tacos, they'll enjoy this unconventional version.

Serves: 40 balls

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 1/4-ounce package taco seasoning mix
  • 1/2-3/4 cup water
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3 cups dry biscuit mix (low-fat mix works, and has less fat and fewer calories)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Combine all ingredients together in large bowl. (Do not cook ground beef.)
  3. Shape mixture into small balls.
  4. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 15 to 20 minutes or until browned.
Tips:
  • If your children love tacos, here's a switch they are sure to love as well. For a less spicy taste, cut back on the amount oft taco seasoning you include.
