Zach's Fettuccine and Green Beans
This quick-fix dish is an excellent noodle and vegetable concoction. It can easily be doubled or tripled for a crowd.
Serves: Serves: 4 (1 cup)
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup Carnation Nonfat Dry Milk Powder
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- 2 teaspoons reduced-calorie margarine 1/2 cup (1 1/2 ounces) grated Kraft fat-free Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups hot cooked fettuccine, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup (one 8-ounce can) cut green beans, rinsed and drained
Directions:
- In a small bowl, combine dry milk powder, water, and parsley flakes.
- Pour mixture into a large skillet sprayed with butter-flavored cooking spray. Add margarine and Parmesan cheese. Mix well to combine. Stir in fettuccine and green beans.
- Lower heat and simmer for 5 to 6 minutes or until mixture is heated through, stirring often.
- 1 1/2 cups broken uncooked fettuccine usually cooks to about 2 cups.
