Crab Pasta Salad
Your family will love this crab pasta salad. It makes a great dish for the summer buffet or picnic lunch.
Serves: Serves: 6
Ingredients:
- 1 cup nonfat sour cream
- 1 cup nonfat mayonnaise
- 2 1/2 teaspoons dried dill
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 12-ounce package of shell pasta, cooked and drained
- 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups flaked crabmeat
Directions:
- Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, dill and garlic powder in large bowl; mix well.
- Add pasta and crabmeat and toss until coated.
- Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
- Serve on lettuce leaves with whole-wheat crackers or stuffed in a pita.
- Fresh dill contains the stomach-soothing chemicals carvocral and limonene and may help ease indigestion.
