Healthy White Bread
Add a touch of wheat germ and whole-wheat flour for nutrition and nutty flavor.
Serves: Serves 4 for two meals
- 11⁄2 cups water
- 2 TB. honey (optional)
- 11⁄2 tsp. salt
- 21⁄4 cups white flour
- 1⁄4 cup wheat germ
- 1⁄2 cup whole-wheat flour
- 1⁄2 tsp. yeast
- Add water, honey (if using), salt, white flour, wheat germ, and whole-wheat flour to machine.
- Make an indentation in flour and add yeast.
- Bake per machine instructions.
