|
Categories: Quick to fix
Type: Side Dishes

Watch these beans disappear, and you'll be convinced you should start serving them more often.

Serves: Serves 4 to 6

Ingredients:

  • 2 TB. butter
  • 1 lb. fresh green beans, stems removed, sliced into 2-inch sections (longer if the kids like to pretend they're swords)
  • 14 cup slivered almonds
  • 12 tsp. dill (or 1 TB. fresh)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat, and sauté beans, almonds, and dill for four minutes, stirring. They will still be a bit crunchy. Cook a little longer if you like them soft.
  2. Serve and season with salt and pepper.
