Sautéed Garden Beans
Watch these beans disappear, and you'll be convinced you should start serving them more often.
Serves: Serves 4 to 6
Ingredients:
- 2 TB. butter
- 1 lb. fresh green beans, stems removed, sliced into 2-inch sections (longer if the kids like to pretend they're swords)
- 1⁄4 cup slivered almonds
- 1⁄2 tsp. dill (or 1 TB. fresh)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat, and sauté beans, almonds, and dill for four minutes, stirring. They will still be a bit crunchy. Cook a little longer if you like them soft.
- Serve and season with salt and pepper.
