Spiced Spinach

Spicing up spinach is a great way to make it more appealing to non-spinach lovers.

  • One bunch fresh spinach, rinsed, with un-appetizing stem ends removed
  • Pinch nutmeg
  • 14 cup cream or milk
  • Salt to taste

  1. Steam spinach over boiling water for two to three minutes until just wilted. After steaming, sprinkle with a little nutmeg, drizzle with cream, and salt to taste.
  • Delicious with grilled sausages, fresh bread, and a glass of Cotes du Rhone red wine.
