Spicy Oven-Fried Potatoes
These oven-fried potatoes are a better choice than frozen French fries, and they taste great, too!
Serves: 4 servings
- 3 medium potatoes
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil or oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- Preheat broiler.
- Scrub potatoes and cut into slices or wedges.
- Melt margarine. Place margarine and spices in large bowl or resealable bag. Coat potatoes with margarine mixture by stirring in bowl or shaking in bag.
- Place potatoes in single layer on cookie sheet. Broil potatoes about 5-10 minutes on each side until golden brown.
