Sweetened Glazed Carrots

Sweeten up your cooked carrots, and watch your kids' faces light up.

Serves: 6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups carrots, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:

  1. In medium saucepan, cook carrots in small amount of water for 5-8 minutes, until tender-crisp. Drain.
  2. In small saucepan, combine brown sugar, mustard, margarine and sail. Cook over medium heat until margarine melts, while stirring constantly. Pour glaze over carrots. Toss gently.
