Sweetened Glazed Carrots
Sweeten up your cooked carrots, and watch your kids' faces light up.
Serves: 6 servings
- 3 cups carrots, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 tablespoon margarine
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- In medium saucepan, cook carrots in small amount of water for 5-8 minutes, until tender-crisp. Drain.
- In small saucepan, combine brown sugar, mustard, margarine and sail. Cook over medium heat until margarine melts, while stirring constantly. Pour glaze over carrots. Toss gently.
