Here's a basic recipe for white rice.

Serves: 8 servings

Ingredients:

  • 4 3/4 cups water
  • 16-ounce box converted white rice

Directions:

  1. Place the rice and water in a large saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer over low heat until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed, about 20 to 25 minutes.
